Choosing for cruelty-free nail gels
For me it is important to know that the products we distribute are cruelty-free. I was wondering if you also find that important?
1. Ingredient Quality and Regulations
European cosmetics are known for stringent regulations, which often means their products have high safety standards. Korean nail gels, similarly, are subjected to a rigorous testing regime, which is part of the K-beauty commitment to skin-friendly products. American standards are also strict, but the list of banned substances is shorter than in Europe.
2. Innovation and Trends
Korea is renowned for being at the forefront of beauty and nail care innovation, often incorporating skincare benefits into their nail products. American and European brands are also innovative but may focus more on long-lasting wear and color range.
3. Cruelty-Free and Vegan Options
The cruelty-free movement is strong in Europe, with many consumers demanding transparency in animal testing. Korean nail gels are also made significant strides in cruelty-free products. While there is a growing demand for cruelty-free options in the U.S., regulations do not yet mandate such practices.
4. Color and Texture Variety
Korean nail gels often offer a wide range of trendy colors and textures influenced by K-pop and Korean fashion. In contrast, American and European gels might adhere to more classic or seasonal color palettes.
5. Packaging and Branding
Korean products often come in cute, innovative packaging, while European and American products may prioritize a more minimalist or luxury aesthetic.
